Carroll County Budget Committee Meeting
The Carroll County Budget Committee Meeting meets on the third Thursday of each month beginning at 10 a.m. in the Carroll County Office Complex Conference Room.

McKenzie Town Council meets monthly
McKenzie City Council meets at 6:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month.

The Carroll County Commission meets monthly
The Carroll County Commission meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in December, February and July.

First CP Vacation Bible School
From Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, July 8, McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church is hosting a Vacation Bible School, “Monumental – Celebrating God’s Greatness” – for children ages 3 through those who have just completed 5th grade. Hours are 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided. Come and celebrate Christian communion, the pleasure and the joy of the Word of God!

McKenzie Farmer’s Market
McKenzie Farmers Market is Saturdays at 8 a.m., 2431 Cedar Street, in downtown McKenzie. The former Studebaker dealership has been converted into an indoor/outdoor farmer’s market and allows local citizens to sell their home-grown and home-grown food and other goods.
It is open every Saturday morning until October. Visit also on Tuesday afternoons, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Watch for special children’s activities sponsored by Carroll County 4-H and the Agricultural Extension Service.
Free entry. The facility is sponsored by the Town of McKenzie. For vendor information, call City Hall at 731-352-2292.

Greenfield First Baptist Vacation Bible School
The Greenfield First Baptist Church community-wide VBS Block Party will be held Saturday, June 25 from 5-7:30 p.m. The church is located at 3127 N. Meridian Street in Greenfield.
Greenfield First Baptist Church Vacation Bible School is Sunday, June 26 through Wednesday, June 29, 6-8:30 p.m. each evening. There will be Bible lessons, music, games, crafts, missions and food for all ages as well as a Bible study for adults! Dr. Tony Janner Memorial Golf Tournament

Annual par 3 golf tournament
The annual MHS Rebel Golf Team Par Three Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, June 18 at 4 p.m. at the Carroll Lake Golf Course. Admission is $105 per team, $35 per person. Registration begins at 3 p.m. There will be prizes, food and fun.

Carroll County Humane Society sells Georgia Peaches
The Carroll County Humane Society is taking orders for fresh Georgia peaches through June 20. Orders will arrive in early July. An 11-13 box is $30 to be paid at time of order. Call 731-352-9950 and leave a message.

McKenzie Revival Committee Event
The McKenzie Community Rebirth Committee is hosting an event in downtown McKenzie June 24-25.
On Friday, June 24, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., there will be karaoke, open mic and treasure hunt. On Saturday, June 25, from noon to 4 p.m., it’s music and games across the town center square. Food trucks will be on site.

Huntingdon School Board Meeting
The Huntingdon School Board meets on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 6 p.m. The meeting is held at the Huntingdon Central Office located at 585 High Street, Huntingdon.

The Carroll County Emergency Communications Board will meet
The Carroll County Emergency Communications Board meets in regular session Tuesday, June 21 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting takes place in the training room of the Sheriff’s Office, 200 Norandal Drive, Huntingdon.

Return Communion at Shiloh CP Church and Hymn Singing
Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church is hosting a Communion and Homecoming Hymn June 19 at 11 a.m., State Route 423, McKenzie.
