It’s not you: Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp Crash

Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp crashed Monday morning, leaving users with almost blank screens.

The three social media platforms owned by Facebook were all inaccessible for any activity, including messaging. Facebook users were greeted with a “sorry, something went wrong” message while Instagram had “5xx server error” written on its website and was just blank on the app. The WhatsApp site was simply inaccessible.

“We are aware that some people are having difficulty accessing our applications and products. We are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience,” the company said in a Twitter post. . No estimate for the restoration was mentioned in their message.

The Downtector website had reports from around the world about the outage.
