ARoS Aarhus Art Museum presents two large, immersive exhibitions.
Lu Yang: Numerical descending
The artist creates fantastic, often painful and shocking images that represent an interdisciplinary mix of religion, philosophy, neuroscience, psychology and modern technology, as well as allusions to real life forms and structures of natural origin. and religious. The exhibition presents the virtual parallel world of Lu Yang inhabited by gods, demons, heroes, warriors and cyborgs inspired by universes from the fields of games, manga and oriental religions.
The exhibition created by Icelandic artist Shoplifter / Hrafnhildur Arnardóttir is a colorful cave with the proportions of a cathedral. Hypernature is an immersive landscape-type installation composed of synthetic hair extensions, which places the viewer in a surreal, enveloping environment that activates the body and our senses through sight, touch and sound. An immersive experience for all the senses, full of playful humor and magic.
