When heaven opened, the angels rejoiced when Emma Anne Pemberton, 90, was called home on April 3, 2022.
Emma was a resident of Tellico Plains, Tn., and a former resident of Jasper, Tn., and a member of the South Pittsburg Church of God. She was born to John and Ruby (Moore) Vinson on September 15, 1931. She was married to the late Carl F. Pemberton.
Emma was a member of the South Pittsburg Church of God and was faithful to her Lord and Saviour. She had a very kind soul and was much loved. Emma loved her family with all her heart, as well as her dog Abby. Emma loved gardening and working with her flowers and being outdoors.
Emma was predeceased by her father, John Vinson; mother, Ruby Moore Vinson; husband Carl F. Pemberton; daughter, Madeline Petrie; sons, Don Davison and Dave Pemberton.
Emma leaves her memories to her sons, John H. Robinson (Susan) and Michael Pemberton (April); Jack Pemberton; his sister, Barbara Chambers, seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The pallbearers are Jack Pemberton, Jack Robinson, Michael Pemberton, Austin Pemberton, John Robinson and Jason Sapen.
The family will have a public visitation on Friday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST, at Tate Funeral, Home in Jasper.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 8 at 1 p.m. CST in the chapel of Tate Funeral Home, LLC., Jasper, TN.
Interment will be Friday, April 8 at Cumberland View Cemetery, Kimball, Tennessee, after the funeral.
