MANISTEE – Pat Richardson will give a concert on the 1909 pipe organ at the Guardian Angels Church this weekend.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 371 Fifth St. in Manistee.
The program will include well-known classical works by Bach and Vierne, as well as music by contemporary composers.
Richardson has served as organist at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Cadillac since 1981. She performed for many years at venues including the Cadillac Philharmonic Club and in recital at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Gaylord, according to a statement from hurry. She is a music graduate from Western Michigan University and a K-12 vocal instructor.
There is no charge for the concert, however, donations raised at the event support the ongoing preservation efforts of the Guardian Angels Historic Preservation Project buildings.
