Irish Heritage Month Paint and Sip: The Mohawk Valley Irish Cultural Center is hosting a special paint and sip event at 6 p.m. at 623 Columbia St, Utica. Get ready for Irish Heritage Month with your own Irish-themed painting and tips from instructor Jill Rae Vennera. To register, go to Eventbrite and search for “Irish Cultural Center Paint and Sip” in Utica. Register early as places will be limited. The $40 fee includes paints, 16″ x 20″ canvas, instructions, an adult beverage, and light snacks.

School Budget Meeting: The Oneida City School District School Board will host a public budget forum for the 2022-23 school year at 6:00 p.m. at the Oneida High School Library, 560 Seneca Street.

Saturday March 5

Indoor Farmer’s Market: Parry’s, Hamilton’s modern general store, will host its annual indoor winter market from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. granola, biscotti, soaps, art and more. Additionally, Parry’s sells local New York food, coffee, jewelry, prints, and handcrafted items. Worn Again, a thrift store benefiting a local charity located in Parry’s,

will be open during market hours. The Parry market takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month from November to April. For more information, call Parry (315) 824-0002.

Board Meeting: The Oneida City School District School Board will hold a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. at Oneida High School, 560 Main Street.

Saturday March 12

Ukrainian Pysanky Egg Decorating: Linda Evans will be giving pysanka egg decorating classes March 12 and 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sherrill-Kenwood Free Library. The cost is $25.00 per class and pre-registration is required. Please contact the library at (315) 363-5980 to register. Pancake Breakfast: The United Church of Canastota, 144 Center Street, would like to prepare a breakfast for you on March 12 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, eggs cooked to order, hash browns, bacon/sausage and drinks for only $12! Sit down or get out. Accessible to people with disabilities.

Library Board Meeting: The Morrisville Public Library Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Library, 83 E. Main St. Morrisville. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Face coverings are mandatory.

Monday March 21

Writing Club: The Canastota Evening Writers meet at the Canastota Public Library on the first and third Monday evenings of each month. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m.
